FringeIT Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 20, 2026
FringeIT is operated by FringeIT LLC, a Michigan limited liability company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Novavirt Inc. ("FringeIT," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through fringeit.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and your rights regarding it.
We wrote this policy to accurately describe what actually happens on this Site — not as a generic template. If something here ever stops being true, we'll update it.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you submit the Talk to FringeIT contact form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your business name
- Your work email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- Your approximate number of employees (a selection from a predefined range)
- Your primary need (a selection from a predefined list)
- Any additional message you choose to include
This is the only form on the Site, and it is the only way we directly collect personal information from you through the Site.
Scheduling a call. The Site also links out to Calendly, a third-party scheduling service, so you can book an introductory call. If you choose to book through Calendly, any information you enter there (such as your name, email, and selected time) is collected and processed by Calendly under its own privacy policy. We receive the booking details for the appointment you schedule.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Hosting infrastructure. This Site is hosted on Vercel. As part of normal web hosting operations, Vercel logs standard technical request data for traffic passing through its infrastructure, including things like source IP address, HTTP request details, and user agent (browser/device information). This logging happens at the infrastructure level as a normal part of running any website — it is not something FringeIT separately configures for tracking or marketing purposes.
Privacy-friendly analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate Site traffic, such as which pages are viewed. Vercel Web Analytics is designed to be privacy-friendly: it does not use cookies and does not build cross-site advertising profiles of visitors.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising or marketing tracking service on this Site.
1.3 What We Do Not Collect
We do not collect payment information on this Site. FringeIT services are quoted and billed separately once you become a client, not through this Site. We do not collect information from children, and this Site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly track you across other websites.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information submitted through the Talk to FringeIT contact form solely to:
- Respond to your inquiry
- Understand your business's IT needs so we can have a useful first conversation
- Contact you about FringeIT services, if you've asked us to
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not add you to a mailing list or newsletter without your separate, explicit consent.
3. Data Retention
We retain contact form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver our services — or until you ask us to delete it (see Section 5).
If you become a FringeIT client, information related to delivering our services to you is retained consistent with our service agreement with you and applicable recordkeeping requirements, and is governed by that agreement in addition to this Policy.
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We use the following service providers to operate this Site:
- Vercel — web hosting, infrastructure, and privacy-friendly Web Analytics
- Formspree — form submission processing for the Talk to FringeIT contact form
- Calendly — scheduling, if you choose to book an introductory call
We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of FringeIT, Novavirt Inc., our users, or others.
5. Your Rights and Choices
Regardless of where you're located, you may contact us at any time to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Request that we correct inaccurate information
- Request that we delete your information
- Withdraw any consent you've given and ask us to stop contacting you
To make any of these requests, email us at hello@fringeit.com. We will respond promptly.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or a jurisdiction with similar data protection laws, you may have additional rights under applicable law, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we've collected and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.
6. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information submitted through this Site, including relying on the security infrastructure provided by Vercel and Formspree. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to accurately reflect what we actually do. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we make material changes.
